Subarnajatra to hoist the Bangladeshi flag in 50 countries

 

Staff Repoter :: Bangladesh’s continuous development and success story will showcase before the world through Subarnajatra marking the celebration of the golden jubilee of the country’s victory day. The organizer has announced that the Subarnajatra will start with a motorcade on October 12, 2021. The journey will finish on 16th December, another special day as Victory Day which would be a great occasion to celebrate the 50 years of our Independence. They shared the detailed information at a press conference held at a hotel at Dhanmondi in the capital recently.

Subarnajatra’s representative for Bangladesh Syed Md. Din Islam Chowdhury, Sanjib Biswas Sanjoy, Sadiya Jarrin and Antu Kareem, the media and communication coordinator of Subarnajatra in Bangladesh, was present at the press conference.

Speakers at the press conference said, “Under the banner of Chinta O Chaka, a Swedish-registered international non-profit organization founded by Bangladeshi immigrants living in various parts of the world, a motorcade will start from Nordcap, Norway on October 12. The expedition travels some 50 countries in Europe and Asia, covering an estimated 40,000 km by road. The historic journey is expected to wrap up on December 16, 2021, by placing a wreath at the National Memorial of Bangladesh.

Model-Actor Antu Kareem, the media and communication coordinator of Subarnajatra in Bangladesh, said, “It is such a step by a patriotic group of Bangladeshi nationalist expatriates that makes us truly proud. I feel proud to be directly involved in this great initiative. Under the Subarnajatra program, the Bangladesh flag will hover in 50 different countries of the world. The historic journey will end on December 16, 2021, at the National Memorial of Bangladesh. We will continuously provide the media and journalists with the latest information on Subarnajatra.”

Motiur Rahman Khan, president of Chinta O Chaka, in an audio message, said that we will focus on the three main topics on this wonderful journey. 1. The glorious history of Bangladesh’s independence war, the great contribution of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the distinguished leader of the Bangla and the outstanding achievements of Bangladesh in the last 50 years. 3. The promise and call to ensure beautiful green earth so that future generations can escape from the adverse effects of climate change and pollution.

He said that Subarnajatra would work with Bangladeshi expatriates in almost every major city of the selected countries on its journey. A documentary created on the unprecedented development of Bangladesh in the last 50 years will be presenting before the world through some unique songs and stories.
