Staff Repoter :: The youth-centric brand realme’s visual identity of its signature “realme gray” and “realme yellow” reflects the color of year 2021, dictated by Pantone, the professional color institute. This is not a coincidence rather an outcome of the visual identity that realme updated in early 2019 with globally acclaimed Pentagram partner and chief designer Eddie Opara.
The trendsetting technology brand, realme has always been in the forefront when it comes to catering to the needs and reflecting on the preferences of the youth. Taking that into account, realme is always on track to create products with both trendsetting design and leap-forward performance for the global young users.
The world’s top design studio Pentagram spearheaded the realme design team “realme Design Studio” to complete a full set of VI visual designs, giving the brand more young, trendy and cutting-edge vitality.
The visual identity system and logo are all based on vibrant golden yellow. This color, called ‘realme Yellow’, represents power, style, modernity and youthfulness; as well as positive connotations in both Eastern and Western cultures, such as positivity, optimism, friendliness and emotional energy, wisdom, harmony, prosperity. The main auxiliary color, gray, represents professionalism, calmness, and inclusiveness; and will be used with other auxiliary colors including classic black and white, and a light gray tone, in realme’s overall brand VI. The realme X2 Pro Master Edition created by the international industrial design master Naoto Fukasawa adopts ‘realme gray’, resonating with the Pantone color of the year 2021 ‘Ultimate Gray’.
Reputed for introducing a wide range of trendy smartphone products in the market realme has turned into a part of the youth’s tech world owing to its tendency to inject the latest trends into young people all around the globe.
